Local Events

Anza Days - On or around July 4th. The Anza Lions Club BBQ Friday night followed by Film Festival in the Park. Breakfast Saturday morning by the Thimble Club. 11 AM Parade along Hwy 371 & Post-parade activities in Minor Park put on by local community organizations.

Business Expo - Anza Valley Chamber of Commerce hosts a semi-annual Business Expo in the spring and fall.
Earth Day Celebrations - Anza, Idyllwild, and their three neighboring Tribal groups - the Cahuilla, the Ramona, and the Santa Rosa bands - each host their own Earth Day Celebrations. Contact the local Chambers of Commerce for dates and locations.

Dating back to the days of Colonial India, Gymkhana is a form of horseback riding that takes the riders through a timed obstacle course and is used for any place where sporting events take place and generally refers to any of various meets at which contests are held to test the skill of the competitors.
